Donating ostomy, wound, and fistula supplies is easy.

We never like turning away donations. However, there are some supplies we cannot accept. Please consider this when choosing which items to donate.

STEP 1: REFRAIN FROM SENDING

  • Non-ostomy or non-wound medical supplies

  • Expired products

  • Manufacturer paperwork (brochures, booklets, handouts)

  • Soiled boxes or supplies

  • Loose items with unknown expiration dates

  • Opened powders, pastes, sprays, and deodorant bottles

  • Previously used travel bags, belts, and wraps

STEP 2: WHAT WE ACCEPT

New pouching systems (adult or pediatric) with LOT NUMBERS starting with 3 or 4.

  • 1-piece drainable pouches (flat or convex)

  • 1-piece closed-end pouches (flat or convex)

  • 2-piece skin barriers (flat or convex)

  • 2-piece drainable pouches (clamp or velcro closure)

  • 2-piece closed-end pouches

  • Fistula and Wound pouches

Also needed are unused ostomy accessories;

  • pouch clips

  • wound care supplies

  • stoma paste

  • stoma powder

  • barrier rings

  • barrier sheets

  • barrier strips

  • barrier adhesive wipes or sprays

  • adhesive remover wipes or sprays

  • ostomy deodorant

  • hernia/support belts

STEP 3: EXPIRATION DATES

We know how costly shipping can be. To lighten the load, please do not send expired supplies. Expiration dates are on the original packaging.

In need of supplies with LOT NUMBERS starting with 3 or 4.

STEP 4: HOW TO PACK

Please leave items inside their original packaging.

CAUTION: Consolidating supplies too tightly causes products to be damaged.

STEP 5: KEEP A RECORD

The Internal Revenue Code imposes the responsibility for estimating the value of non-cash contributions on the donor rather than the charity receiving the gift. Keep an itemized list for your records.

STEP 6: TAX RECEIPT

If you’d like a tax receipt, please include a note inside the box with your full name, mailing address, and email address.

    RESOURCES

  • Always store ostomy supplies in a climate-controlled room to avoid damage. Please be aware that the adhesives made for ostomy products can become defective if stored in excessive heat or extremely cold temperatures.
