Who do you help?

We distribute donated ostomy supplies to support the care of uninsured and underinsured ostomates in America who are struggling financially.

Uninsured: If someone is uninsured, they pay retail for the ongoing cost of ostomy supplies, which can create financial stress or medical debt.

Underinsured: There are two ways someone can be underinsured: insufficient coverage and high deductibles. Both incur out-of-pocket costs.

Support Groups: Providing ostomy supplies to local support groups helps us reach more people in need, including homeless ostomates. We also assist national aid organizations during national emergencies.

After ostomy surgery, a person must wear a pouching system (e.g., ostomy supplies) to collect waste that exits the body through an opening in the abdomen called a stoma.
